Professional Background
After becoming a joiner and completing the professional German Guild of Craftsman and Trade in 2004, I earned a solid skill level and practiced work throughout Germany and Australia in the early stages of my life. I had the opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the industry, which helped me develop my skills in woodworking, cabinetry, and building structures. My drive for innovation and development made me an allrounder for carpentry, renovations and fine woodwork.​​​
After a bumpy start and a successful immigration to Canada, I was able to sponsor my wife and settle with her in Victoria, BC. The ability to adapt to new situations helped to learn the details of building in residential and commercial spaces in Canada. I began to work for high-end shops and contractors, that gave me the deep understanding how to use my techniques and business practices.

Moving to Qualicum Beach (Whiskey Creek)
in 2020, made our dream come true, to live
and work in such a great community and
to raise our 2 amazing children here.
Special Tree Joinery is a small family business, run by a dedicated Husband and Wife team, Nico and Madlin.
